A better future for Canadian homeowners with today’s Net Zero, energy-efficient homes.
Homeowners save and enjoy more comfortable living with Net Zero Homes and efficient HVAC home solutions.
You get what you pay for – and then some. This is especially true when it comes to home comfort systems.
Energy-efficient dwellings – including those with renewable sources of energy and efficient home comfort solutions – are more comfortable, quieter, offer better indoor air quality and do a better job of safeguarding the environment.
An active member of home builders’ associations across Canada, Reliance™ has aligned its business solutions, training programs and corporate culture with the industry’s innovation goals in the area of Net Zero Homes.
Reliance has recently joined The Net Zero Technology Adoption Demonstration Project (Net Zero TAP), an enerQuality Program that’s presenting Smart Home technology to builders, initially in Ontario.
Its goals are to:
- Help build the capacity of home builders to adopt emerging (as opposed to mainstream) energy efficiency/renewable energy/distributed generation technologies that, taken together, result in Net Zero housing.
- Educate home builders across Ontario on the selected Net Zero technologies.
- Test and incorporate at least one technology with each homebuilder, resulting in at least 40 demonstration homes.
“We’re thrilled to be part of this program,” said Dan Murphy, Director, Builder Division at Reliance. “The Net Zero Technology Adoption Project is perfectly aligned with our values and commitment to our customers and environment.”
The benefits of a Net Zero and high-performance home are attractive and substantial. While customers have to set up the technology at the outset, it saves them money in the long run. And, due to the expected environmental benefits, most governments are enacting legislation that will make Net Zero Homes all but certain in the future.
